There's no place in the Philippines like Batanes, they say that the island is the storm capital of the country, but behind that, uncovers the real appeal of the nature. Various people who have gone to Batanes always left unforgettable memories. The beauty of island best describes the paradise. The hills, sky, plants, trees, animals and the sea, are formed perfectly.
I have read some articles about Batanes, and I was amazed to know that a lot of Ivatans or the people from Batanes have become successful and been going back to their province to help their fellows. Jun Abad is the Official Spokesman of ASEAN he is a proud Ivatan, also help in providing electricity for some areas. Popular singers like Nicole Scherzinger and Camille Velasco of American Idol also have relatives in Batanes.
Away from pollution and noise Batanes also considered as the best place to rest. People here are always busy working, away from technology and other distractions, but never forget about worshiping God. Batanes is so far from any progressive city of the country, hope Batanes will remain untouched and wonderful forever.

By having this gift of nature from God, Filipinos should be very proud. I hope that we Filipinos become aware of our own land, let's start loving it, so we can promote it to the world.
